Presenting Guard Guru Essential Skills Camp - SUMMER24

This camp is for girls and boys 8th grade and below, ages/skill levels will be separated. All skill levels welcome, no experience needed.

What will players learn from this camp?

Players will develop the skill set that your coach & other coaches cant ignore. The essential foundation skills to be a great player. Focusing on Ball Handling, shooting, footwork, passing, defense & rebounding. You will learn tricks of the trade to become a high IQ basketball player.

Coach Profile: Coach DJ Thomas

Thomas has a decade of coaching experience, including the Varsity level (Concordia Lutheran High School), Middle School level, and player development training.

Thomas was a four-year first team All-District player at Tomball Memorial High School and ranks among the program’s leaders in career points, assists, and steals. He went on to attend Blinn College

With a passion for coaching/player development, he now coaches for Houston's top AAU programs, and is currently the Girls varsity Head Coach at Providence PCS.
